...How It Started
After ~35 years in Corporate Information Technology, Mark is able to continue his passion in the development of people in workplace topics that would serve as keys to the company and also their career success.
Mark is proud of his working relationship with fellow business training providers: Pioneer Technology Center in Ponca City, OK, Meridian Technology Center in Stillwater, OK, and Northern Oklahoma College (NOC) in Tonkawa, OK.
Upon retirement, he developed a program called, "Manager's Tool Belt" (soup to nuts for new and existing managers) and it was launched August 2011.
The demand for the class was an immediate hit and validated the continued need for Leadership and Teamwork training. As of late, the total graduates exceed 400+ and the total counter keeps ticking upward!
Teachable Moments of Oklahoma (TeachableMoments-OK.com) was birthed in June of 2011. Services and offerings continue to expand as our "Vision" matures.
The rest is history.
To develop and deliver Workplace training solutions to organizations of all sizes, regardless of industry, and/or location. Characteristics of those solutions are, but not limited to, results oriented, leadership focused, management doable, reflect the importance and skills of teamwork and customer service.
Our vision is not to be the biggest company but the only company that works so closely with its customers to tailor and create training needed for them to be successful in today's marketplace. Our Pledge is how we do business NOT just a saying for a bumper sticker!

In everything I write and/or put together for a class it is a standard practice and principle to give the original author full credit. I do this in my delivery and on slides and handouts. Commonly, by name and/or URL so the audience can access it for further study.
If and when a client asks for a specific authors material steps will be taken to purchase materials and/or contact them directly for permission prior to any presentation of the information.
